BOYS VOLLEYBALL
State College 3, Chambersburg 1: The Trojans worked a little extra to capture a win in the second game, 27-25, but the Little Lions were able to secure a Mid Penn Commonwealth match on Tuesday night on the road.
State College won the first game 25-21, and after Chambersburg (0-5, 0-3 MPC) tied it, the Little Lions took games of 25-19 and 25-20.
Joseph Stopyra led the Trojans in kills with 9, while he and Yazaan Safi each had a block kill.
Brian Sulcove led in digs with 10, and Luke Dortenzo, Ben Stahl, Cole Leidig, Reid Leidig and Joseph Byers were each credited with an ace.
