BASEBALL
Greencastle-Antrim 5, Trinity 4: The Blue Devils scored the go-ahead run in the top of the sixth inning and reliever Ben Horst made it stand up in a non-league road game Friday afternoon over the Shamrocks.

Greencastle (1-1) scored two in the fifth to take a 4-3 lead, but Trinity got one in the bottom of the inning to tie it up. Horst entered the game in the fifth with runners on first and second and no outs. He ended up pitching 3 innings, with 2 hits, no walks, 2 strikeouts and no runs.

Briggs Remenick led the offense by going 2-for-4, including a leadoff triple that apparently hit above the line on the fence and should have been a home run.

Also for G-A, Ryan Farrow was 3-for-3, Parker Funk went 2-for-3 and Logan Shifflett had a hit and a run batted.

Avery Horst pitched the first four innings and allowed 3 hits, 6 walks and 4 runs.
