Fast start leads Southern Fulton girls over McConnellsburg

The Southern Fulton Lady Indians (9-5) played the McConnellsburg Spartans Thursday night.  The Indians jumped out to a 20-4 first quarter lead and went on the Spartans 52-39

Coach Wilhemina Wilt commented “We came out intense and took the lead in the first quarter. It was good to get some different players out there to work at the varsity level.”

Harvey led with 18 points, 8 rebounds, 2 steals, and 1 assist. Elder had 14 points, 6 rebounds, 7 blocks, 4 steals, and 3 assists. Stotler had 10 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals.
Pittman had 6 points, 5 rebounds, 3 steals, 2 blocks, and 1 assist. Johnson had 4 points, 1 rebound, and 1 assist. Mellott and Gregory had 2 rebounds. Blankley had a steal, and Moorman had 1 rebound.

Southern Fulton JV won 20-16

Southern Fulton plays on the road on Monday, January 22nd, in an ICC south matchup against Fannett-Metal.
