BOYS: Southern Fulton traveled to Forbes Road on Friday evening to earn a 47 to 30 ICC South victory.

The Indians (7-4, 2-1 ICC South) had an 11 to 5 advantage at the end of the 1^st period and never looked back.

Southern Fulton was led by Ethan Mellott with 13 points and 5 steals.  Sam Stotler had 11 points, 3 assists, and 3 steals.  Paul Hendershot had 10 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 steals.  Trenton Cain had 8 points, 3 rebounds, 2 steals, and 2 blocks.  Jett Burger had 3 points and 3 rebounds. Hunter Ward added 2 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists.

Forbes Road was led by Jacoby Knepper with 10 points and 14 rebounds.  Southern Fulton next plays a home game with Claysburg at 6:00 pm, on Tuesday, January 16^th, in a non-division ICC matchup.

GIRLS: The Southern Fulton Indians (7-4) played the Forbes Road Cardinals Thursday night. The Indians came out hot with a big scoring first quarter putting up 20 points to the Cardinals 6. The Indians maintained the lead for the entire 32 minutes.

Coach Wilhemina Wilt said “The team worked hard, and we are continuing to improve every day. This was a good win for them to get on our home floor. Elder had a double-double last night with 20 points and 11 rebounds which helped solidify our win. We talk constantly about how important rebounds and free throws are and these were both vital to last night’s game. “

Elder led with 20 points, 11 rebounds, 5 blocks, 1 steal, and 1 assist. Harvey had 14 points, 6 rebounds, 3 steals, and 1 assist. Pittman had 11 points, 4 rebounds, 3 steals, and 1 assist. Johnson had 6 points and 1 steal. Stotler had 4 points, 1 rebound, 1 assist, and 1 steal. McQuait had 3 points and 1 rebound.

The Southern Fulton JV fell to Forbes Road 37-20.
