The Southern Fulton Indians (5-4) played the Fannett-Metal Tigers in a home matchup Thursday night. The Indians only led by 1 point at the half 23-22. They exploded in the middle of the third quarter outscoring the Tigers 23-3.
Head Coach Wilhemina Wilt said “Fannett-Metal played with us the whole first half and into the third quarter. It was about halfway through the third quarter that we found our groove and really took off.”
Harvey led with 26 points, 7 rebounds, 4 steals, and 3 assists. Elder had 13 points, 7 rebounds, 3 blocks, and 1 steal. Stotler had 6 points, 7 rebounds, 2 steals, and 1 assist. Pittman had 2 points, 2 steals, and 2 rebounds. McQuait had 2 points, 2 rebounds, and 1 steal. Gregory had 2 points and 1 rebound. Johnson had 2 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 steal. Mooreman had 1 rebound.
