McConnellsburg wins close one over Shalom

McConnellsburg traveled to Shalom Christian Academy Thursday night and won a close battle over the Flames 57-53 in a non-conference game.

Coach Joshua Lowery said. “As usual the Flames played us very tough for all four quarters. They are a well coached young talented team that doesn’t back down. But tonight, we just showed up and stuck to the script even with the game on the line. The fourth quarter my young team showed confidence and a huge amount of growth and understanding of what we needed to do to capture the victory and we did just that defeating the Flames 57-53.”

JV lost 33-28 high scorer for the Spartans was Kohn Hall 12 points, 4 rebounds.
