Greencastle-Antrim 69, Shippensburg 46: The Blue Devils built a 34-16 lead by halftime and took a Mid Penn Colonial victory over the Greyhounds on the home court Tuesday night.

Jordan Hunt had the hot hand for Greencastle (5-1, 3-0 MPC). He poured in seven 3-pointers on his way to a career-high 23 points.

As a team, Greencastle hit 11 treys, to counter the 7 that Ship made.

Eli Sterling backed up Hunt with 14 points, Surzano Solomon had 10 and Logan Alvey scored 8.

For Shippensburg, Jesse Kelso led with 17 points and Drew Chamberlain added 11.

Greencastle-Antrim 61, Shippensburg 45: The Greyhounds led 17-16 after one quarter, but the Blue Devils outscored them 45-28 from that point on to pick up a Mid Penn Colonial win Tuesday night in Shippensburg.

Despite both teams missing players due to injuries, it was a fast-paced first quarter, with Payton White (5) and Lucia Lorente (4) leading the Hounds and Haley Noblit (7) and Callie Izer (5) pacing G-A.

Noblit tallied 10 more in the second period, and finished with a career-high 28 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 7 steals. Teammate Eva Martin scored the first 5 points of the fourth period and finished with 18 points, 6 boards and 3 assists.

Greencastle (5-1, 2-1 MPC) was 12-for-16 from the foul line in the second half, frequently getting fouled on drives to the basket.

Izer had a career-high 13 points and 9 rebounds for the Blue Devils, while White (15) and Lorente (10) led Ship.
