Kylee Miller, Mark DeCarli and Eric Shaner earned special recognition when the Mid Penn Conference revealed its spring sports all-star teams on Saturday.

Miller, a senior pitcher for Chambersburg, was named the Commonwealth Division’s Player of the Year in softball. Miller has a 15-2 record for the Trojans.

Greencastle-Antrim’s DeCarli is the Coach of the Year in softball for the Colonial Division. His Blue Devils tied for the division title with Northern York, but had two victories over the Polar Bears.

Shaner, the baseball coach at Greencastle, was named Co-Coach of the Year in the Colonial, along with Paul Von Stein of Boiling Springs.

In softball, Chambersburg’s Miller and Sam Paetow were selected to the first team in the Commonwealth. In the Colonial, G-A’s Meadown Gambacurta and Sydney Orndorff were on the first team, along with Shippensburg’s Cierra Bender and Waynesboro’s Riley Shelter.

The Colonial baseball first team included three from Greencastle — Carter Reid, Aidan Grudzinski and Landon Huth — along with Hayden Sanchez and Jimmy Bell of James Buchanan, and Shippensburg’s Troy Chamberlin.

In lacrosse, Chambersburg put Shea Makosy on the boys first team and Ridglee Flohr and Ellisa Gamby-Mickey on the first team for the girls.
