Greencastle baseball and softball will host PIAA District 3 5A games Monday. Both games will be broadcast on Mid Penn Broadcasting.

Greencastle baseball ranked # 4 will play a district quarterfinal game against #5 Lampeter-Strasburg. Greencastle defeated Daniel Boone 3-2 in an opening round game and Lampeter-Strasburg defeated Exeter Township 2-1 in 10 innings to reach the quarterfinals. Pregame show at 4:15 p.m. Game time 4:30.The winner will play in the district semifinal against the winner of  Lower Dauphin-Muhlenburg game, the loser will play in the consolation semifinal against the Lower Dauphin vs. Muhlenburg loser. Greencastle softball the #6 seed will host an opening round game against #11 Susquehannock. The winner will play a quarterfinal game against the winner of the Southwestern vs. Palmyra game.
