Southern Fulton wins over Tussey Mountain

The Southern Fulton Indians defeated Tussey Mountain 11-1 in 5 innings to improve to 17-1 (14-1) on Thursday. The victory was fueled in large part to Jett Burger, who drove in four runners.  Burger drove in runs on a double in the fourth and a single in the fifth.

The Indians secured the victory thanks to six runs in the fourth inning.  The big inning was driven by singles by Dane Harvey, Mark Fitz, and Hunter Ward and a double by Burger.

Southern Fulton evened things up at one in the bottom of the first inning thanks to an error which allowed one run to score.

Dane Harvey hit a solo homer in the 3rd to put the Indians up for good.

The Indians opened up the game with six runs in the fourth inning.  The big inning was fueled by the big bats,  led by Burger, Harvey, Fitz, and Ward, who each had RBIs in the inning.

Paul Hendershot pitched Southern Fulton Indians to victory. Hendershot allowed one hit and one unearned run over five innings, while striking out four.

Southern Fulton Indians racked up 11 hits on the day. Harvey and Burger all managed multiple hits for Southern Fulton. Harvey went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Southern Fulton Indians in hits. Southern Fulton Indians stole 14 bases during the game as three players stole more than one. Kasey Fitz led the way with five.
