The Southern Fulton Indians defeated Tussey Mountain 11-1 in 5 innings to improve to 17-1 (14-1) on Thursday. The victory was fueled in large part to Jett Burger, who drove in four runners. Burger drove in runs on a double in the fourth and a single in the fifth.
The Indians secured the victory thanks to six runs in the fourth inning. The big inning was driven by singles by Dane Harvey, Mark Fitz, and Hunter Ward and a double by Burger.
Southern Fulton evened things up at one in the bottom of the first inning thanks to an error which allowed one run to score.
Dane Harvey hit a solo homer in the 3rd to put the Indians up for good.
