Southern Fulton traveled to McConnellsburg on Friday night to take on the Carlynton Cougars from Carnegie, in the First Round of the PIAA 1A playoffs and fell to Carlynton 65-35.

The Indians (19-7) were outscored 17 to 9 in the first quarter and then blasted 32 to 10 in the second.

Carlynton then cruised to victory with a running clock in the third and fourth quarters.

Southern Fulton was led by Dane Harvey with 15 points, and 4 rebounds. Jett Burger had 8 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 steals. Ethan Mellott had 5 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 assists. Hunter Ward had 5 points. Paul Hendershot added 2 points. The Cougars were led by Austen Milliner with 25 points.
