Five basketball teams in the area qualified to play in the PIAA Basketball championships, and the pairings were released on Monday.

Here are the five teams and their first-round pairings:

Class 6A Boys
Chambersburg (Dist. 3-6, 15-11) at Plymouth-Whitemarsh (Dist. 1-1, 24-4), Saturday, 4 p.m.
Waynesboro (Dist. 3-4, 21-6) at Downingtown West (Dist. 1-4, 19-7), Saturday, 5 p.m.

Class 5A Girls
Penn Trafford (Dist. 7-7, 17-9) at Greencastle (Dist. 3-1, 23-2), Saturday, 4 p.m.

Class 2A Boys
McConnellsburg (Dist. 5-2, 22-4) at Northgate (Dist. 7-2, 17-9), Saturday, 2 p.m.
