GIRLS:The Shalom Lady Flames picked up a big league win, 40-35 against the Broadfording Lady Lions Tuesday evening. The Flames came out strong in the first quarter and never relinquished the lead in a close hard-fought game.

The Lion’s Fanta Minteh led all scorers with 22 points. The Flames overcame her big game by playing excellent team basketball led defensively by Jaicee Keller who held Minteh to 8 points in the second half.

The freshman trio of Addison Adams 13 points, Emily Rebok 10 points, and Maya Lehman 9 points spearheaded the Flames’ offense. Keller and Adams led the Flames on the boards with 6 a piece.

BOYS: Shalom 56  Broadfording 53 The Flames used a balanced attack to come away with a tough road victory. Connor Roseman and Noah Lehman had 11 points while Cason Martin, Ethan Hubers, and Trenton Kuhns contributed 10 apiece.
