Greencastle-Antrim 57, James Buchanan 37: The Blue Devils doubled the score on the Rockets in the first quarter (20-10) and controlled the game from that point on to pick up a Mid Penn Colonial victory in Mercersburg on Tuesday night.
Greencastle (10-5, 7-2 MPC), which won its third straight game, also had a big third period, outscoring JB 19-5.
Eli Sterling matched his career high with 21 points for the Blue Devils, while Jordan Hunt chipped in with 11, Adam Horst had 6, Logan Alvey 5 and Blake Shadoan and Conner Wright 4 each.
James Buchanan (1-14, 1-7 MPC) got 12 points from Jayce Piper and 10 from Drew Crouse.

Greencastle-Antrim 54, James Buchanan 37: The Blue Devils put together two excellent quarters on defense that led the way to a Mid Penn Colonial victory at home over the Rockets on Tuesday night.
James Buchanan (11-5, 6-3 MPCO was held to just 7 points in the first quarter and trailed 21-7, then was outscored 16-2 in the third period.
Five different players hit a 3-pointer for the G-A (13-1, 8-1 MPC) in the first quarter.
A big factor in the game was the man-to-man defense played against JB’s top scorer, Mackenzie Stoner, who was held to one point by Rylee Henson.
