Fannett-Metal Falls 65-61 to Northern Bedford 

The Tigers hosted Northern Bedford on Tuesday evening in an ICC Match up and dropped a 65-61 nail biter.  The Tigers led 15-11 after the first quarter of play and went into the half leading 33-23.  “We really controlled the first half playing solid defense and executing our offense”, Coffman said.

The third quarter was a different story as the Panthers created several turnovers and scored some easy points to take a 44-40 lead at the end of three.  The 4th quarter was back and forth with NBC taking home  the victory 65-61.   “This is the third straight game we had a lead at halftime only to squander the lead in the second half.  We are close, we just haven’t finished the job”, Coffman said.

The Tigers placed four players in double figures tonight;  Evan Wingert(15), Riley Martin(14), Drew Goshorn(11), Broc Hostler(11).  Landon Arnold chipped in 7 points, Daxton Detweiler 2 points and Jake Coffman 1 point.  Riley Martin pulled down 13 rebounds and Drew Goshorn had 8 assists.  Landon Arnold was all over the place defensively with 9 deflections and 4 steals.  Goshorn and Coffman each had a pair of steals.

NBC’s Collin Yeatts led all scorers with 21 points including four treys.

The Tigers will travel to Everett Wednesday night for another ICC match up.  JV game will start at 6:00.
