Southern Fulton traveled to McConnellsburg for an ICC clash on Friday evening and were defeated by the Spartans 32-26.
The Indians (10-2, 8-1 ICC) trailed until the 4th quarter when they tied the game up but then lost as the final period played out.
Coach Jeremy Hann said “We shot poorly, 7-19 from 2pt, 4 of 23 from 3pt, and 0-0 from the line. Tale of the game”.
Southern Fulton was led by Ethan Mellott with 8 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 steals. Hunter Ward 6 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 blocks. Paul Hendershot with 4 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals. Sammy Stotler and Josh Morgan each had 3 points. Dane Harvey had 2 points, 10 rebounds, and 2 assists.
The Spartans were led by Kole Truax and Wyatt Hershey with 9 points each.
