Finding themselves down 15-7 at the end of the first quarter, the Indians came out for a big second quarter. Coach Mina Witt said “The players did a good job of staying composed and outscored the Spartans 16 to 3 to end the half 23-18. The Indians did not stop there and came out with intensity in the second half.  We just worked the ball and stayed composed on offense. We knew we did not have to rush anything and had to play smart on defense. We just played our game and set the tone. Ritz had some key rebounds during the game and Shives worked hard diving after loose balls. The girls worked well together staying positive, and with only 5 players what we had was magic.”

Southern Fulton was led by Andrea Elder with 24 points. Emma Wilson had 24.

Southern Fulton will play at home on Monday, January 16 against Southern Huntingdon County.
