Big second half carries Shippensburg over James Buchanan

The Shippnsburg Greyhounds rebounded with a big second half to defeat the James Buchanan Rockets 61-43 at Shippensburg Tuesday night. The Greyhounds struggled in the first half and trailed the Rockets 27-26 at halftime.

Shippensburg started to pull away in the third quarter outscoring James Buchanan 13-4 and put the game away with a 22-12 run in the fourth quarter.

The Rockets Jayce Piper had a game high 19 points.

Shippensburg had four players in double figures as Cole Trn and Trae Cater scored 13 apiece, Jackson Stought and Graison Michajuk had 12 each.

It was the third win in a row for Shippensburg as they improved to 5-3 overall and 4-1 in the Mid Penn Colonial Division. James Buchanan falls to 0-10 and 0-5 in the Colonial Division.

Shippensburg travels to Waynesboro Friday night, the Indians are 10-1 and defeated Gettysburg 69-44 Tuesday Night. The Rockets host West Perry on Friday.
