GIRLS BASKETBALL
Central Dauphin East 36, Chambersburg 32: The Panthers outscored the Trojans by four points in the second half to come away with a Mid Penn Commonwealth victory Tuesday night in Harrisburg.
Nyi’lah Luckett scored 11 of her 21 points in the fourth quarter to carry East (1-5) to its first win of the season.
Chambersburg sank only nine field goals, and were 13 of 22 from the foul line, including 8-for-10 in the final quarter.
Riley Evans was the only Trojan in double figures, with 10 points, while Ella Parker had 8 and Lily Cornwell added 7. Chambersburg is 2-7 (1-3 MPC).
