Greencastle-Antrim 57, Shippensburg 54: The Blue Devils were able to hold off a Greyhounds comeback to pick off a Mid Penn Colonial road victory on Tuesday night.

Greencastle (5-1, 3-0 MPC) made 8 of 12 foul shots in the fourth quarter, including 6 of 9 by Conner Wright.

The Blue Devils, with the help of 10 points by Eli Sterling, outscored Shippensburg (2-3, 2-1 MPC) 15-8 in the second period to take a 29-19 lead into the second half.

But the Hounds did rally and made it close at the end.

Wright popped in 23 points to lead G-A, while Sterling put up 20 points.

For Ship, Cole Trn racked up 20 points, Jackson Stought had 14 and Graison Michajluk added 11.

Greencastle-Antrim 70, Shippensburg 46: The Blue Devils took an 11-point lead into halftime, then padded it with a 21-8 spread in the third period to overrun the Greyhounds in a Mid Penn Colonial game Tuesday night at home.

Greencastle (6-0, 3-0 MPC) shot 15 of 29 from the field (52%) in the first half, then the defense played a big role in the decisive third period.

Mia Libby led the way for the Blue Devils by scoring 25 points, making 8 steals and assisting on 2 field goals. Rylee Henson contributed a career-high 21 points and added 5 steals and 3 assists.

Haley Noblit scored 15 points, grabbed 3 rebounds and had 3 assists, while Ainsley Swindell tallied 6 points, and had 5 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 assists.

Shippensburg is 3-4 (1-2 MPC).
