Chambersburg places 5th: The Trojans got a good round from Jacob Bassham, but ended up in fifth place on Tuesday in a Mid Penn Commonwealth match at Centre Hills in State College.

Bassham recorded three birdies in his round (Nos. 2, 3 and 11), but a big number on No. 5 kept him from going really low. He tied for eighth place in the individual scores with nines of 41-38.

Jeremy Otto tied for 16th with an 83. He scored 40 and 43, which included a birdie on No. 14. Teegan Humelsine came in with an 84 (44-40) in 19th place, which came with birdies on Nos. 2 and 11.

Also for Chambersburg (3-12), Connor Sites shot 95 to place 33rd, Brady Sites was 35th with a 97 and Brady Fretz shot 99 to place tied for 36th.
