Fannett-Metal shuts out Hyndman

Fannett-Metal  (11-6) hosted Hyndman in a non league match up and won 15-0 in three innings.  The game was supposed to be played at Hyndman but was moved to Fannett-Metal because of water damage to the Hyndman field.

The Tigers scored 4 runs in the first, 7 runs in the second and brought the mercy rule into effect with a four run 3rd inning.

Landon Arnold and Broc Hostler both hit a 3 run home run in the game.  Rylin Sharar and Drew Goshorn both had RBI doubles.  Luke Coffman and Sharar had a pair of hits.

Drew Goshorn got his first varsity start and threw three innings of no hit ball to preserve the shutout. He had 3 BB and 5 K

“Drew struggled in the first with command but he started attacking the strike zone in the 2nd and finished strong”, Coffman said.

The Tigers will visit Mcconnellsburg on Saturday evening at 6:00.
