Trayton Younker leads Southern Fulton to victory

Trayton Younker‘s huge day at the plate paced the Southern Fulton Indians to an 11-5 win over the  Tussey Mountain Titans.  Younker had four hits as he singled in the second, doubled in the third, doubled in the fourth, and homered in the sixth.

In the second inning, SoFo Indians (8-2, 8-0) got their offense started when Dane Harvey hit a solo homer.

Southern Fulton notched five runs in the third inning.  The Indians  big bats in the inning were led by singles by Holden Stotler and Zach Price, an error on a ball put in play by Jett Burger, and a double by Younker.

Price, who is now 2-0 on the season, led the Indians to victory on the mound. Price lasted five innings, allowing five hits and three runs while striking out three.  Josh Morgan threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Southern Fulton scattered ten hits in the game.  Younker and Konner Pittman each managed multiple hits for the Indians.  Younker led SoFo with four hits in four at bats and 3 RBIs.

Southern Fulton is back in action tomorrow as they travel to Claysburg.
