Southern Fulton Indians Stotler Throws No-Hitter to Defeat Tussey Mountain

Holden Stotler was brilliant on the pitcher’s mound on Friday, as Stotler threw a no-hitter to lead SoFo Indians past Tussey Mountain Titans 15-0 in 4 innings.

Trayton Younker led SoFo at the plate by driving in five runs and finishing 3-4 on the day.  Younker drove in runs on a double in the third and a home run in the fourth.

In the first inning, SoFo Indians got their offense started when Ethan Powell’s sac fly scored one run for SoFo Indians.

SoFo Indians scored eight runs in the third inning.  Zach Price, Josh Morgan, Kasey Fitz, Powell, Younker, and  Jett Burger powered the big inning with RBIs.

Stotler got the win for SoFo Indians (7-2, 7-0).  The pitcher surrendered zero runs on zero hits over four innings, striking out five and walking one.

Stoudenour took the loss for Tussey Mountain. The pitcher lasted two innings, allowing three hits and six runs while striking out 1.

SoFo has a busy week on schedule as they host TM on Tuesday, travels to Claysburg on Wednesday, goes to Everett on Thursday, and completes the 4 game week by hosting Hancock Saturday at 2pm.
