Fannett-Metal Takes Down Claysburg-Kimmel 75-47

The Tigers (11-10, 10-5 ICC) jumped out to a 21-2 first quarter lead and never looked back. “We played at their place a week ago and frankly they took to to us. Tonight the boys were determined to come out and set the tone early, and they certainly did that. We pressured them right away and created some easy turnovers, and offensively we worked the ball around for the high percentage shot,” Coffman said. The Tigers took a 35-15 lead into the half.

In the second half the Tigers exploded for a 28 point 3rd quarter to put the game away. “We passed the ball extremely well, and crashed the boards for some nice second chance opportunities,” Coffman said. Everybody got involved tonight as the Tigers went on to win 75-47.


The Tigers put four players in double figures led by Wyatt Appleby with a game high 28 points. He added 12 rebounds. “Wyatt had one of his strongest inside games of the season tonight, Coffman said. Hunter Hill had 18 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 blocks. Ayden Warren had 12 points and 4 steals while Luke Coffman chipped in 10 points and 6 assists. For the Bulldogs, Wyatt Buell and Tony Sacchitella both had 13 points.


The Tigers return to action on Wednesday night for their last regular season game of the year against MCConnellsburg. The JV is scheduled to start at 6:00.
