Waynesboro Ties Shippensburg for Mid-Penn Colonial Lead

The Waynesboro Indians overcame a five point half-time deficit by putting up 24 third quarter points in route to a 60-50 victory over the Shippensburg Greyhounds in Mid-Penn Colonial action Saturday night.
The Indians, (16-3, 13-1MPC), put three players in double figures led by Jaylon Bean with 17.  Reese Cover scored 15 and Louis Lindsay added 11 in the winning effort.

Jeremy Thomas led all scorers with 24 with 15 of those points coming in the first half.  Jayden Statum added 12 for the Greyhounds.

Shippensburg, (14-2, 11-1MPC) saw their 14 game win streak snapped with the loss.  The Greyhounds still have two conference games remaining.  Thursday night they host Big Spring and finish the regular season Friday night at home against Boiling Springs.
