Fannett-Metal (7-6, 6-2 ICC) went on the road to Forbes Road and came home with a 64-24 victory. The Tigers jumped out to a 24-6 lead in the first quarter and extended the lead to 37-12 at the half. “The team executed offensively, defensively and in transition to take a commanding lead in the first half.” In the second half we were able to get everyone involved to secure the victory.
The Tigers put three players in double figures led by Hunter Hill with (27) points and (5) steals. Wyatt Appleby (12) points and Sophomore Riley Martin (10) points also reached double figures. Ayden Warren chipped in (6) points and (3)steals while Luke Coffman had (4) points, (5) assists and (4) steals. Also scoring was Drew Goshorn with (5) points. For the Cardinals, Porter McMath led the way with (11) points.
F-M will travel to MCConnellsburg on Friday evening for an ICC matchup. The Junior Varsity game is scheduled to start at 6:00.
