Blazers dominate Faith to stay unbeaten

The Cumberland Valley Christian Blazers surrendered an early goal but then charged back to defeat Faith Christian 7-1 Tuesday in a Mason Dixon Christian Conference boys soccer game.

Faith (3-5 MDCC) scored after its only corner kick of the game early into the match, but Wyatt Pine answered with the first two of his five goals to give the Blazers a 2-1 halftime lead.

The Blazers (11-0, 6-0 MDCC) maintained the pressure in the second half, keeping the ball in their offensive end for the majority of the game. Pine added his last three goals and Mario Wiesman scored twice for the Blazers.

Wiesman chipped in with three assists, Pine added a pair, and Finlay Smith and Max Crawford one each for the Blazers, who held a 12-1 bulge in corner kicks. Goaltender Gabe Beckering made 10 saves.
