Heritage Academy broke a 1-1 tie by winning the last two games and defeated the Cumberland Valley Christian Blazers 3-1 Tuesday in a Mason-Dixon Christian Conference girls volleyball match.
Heritage dominated the first set, winning 25-9. However, the Blazers (2-2, 1-2 MDCC) battled back to earn a 25-16 victory in the second game. Heritage took the last two sets, 25-11 and 25-18.
Regan Bard had a team-high 18 assists for the Blazers. Morgan Householder led in kills with nine, followed by Kendra Bard with five, Julia Waltz with four and Sarah Vandersleen with three. Householder and Kendra Bard each collected seven digs.
