G-A roundup: Softball team finishes regular season with win

Greencastle-Antrim 12, Camp Hill 0: Two pitchers combined for a two-hitter and the Blue Devils scored in every inning to rout the Lions in a non-league game Thursday afternoon at Greencastle to end the regular season with a 13-7 record.

G-A is currently listed as the No. 10 team in the District 3 power rankings. If those rankings stay as they are, the Blue Devils will travel to play at No. 7 Donegal (15-3) in the first round of the Class 5A playoffs on Tuesday at 4:30.

Bailee Martin-Irving pitched two innings and Adrianna Beeler hurled three. Each gave up one hit; Martin Irving struck out six and Beeler fanned four.

Four Greencastle players had two hits each — Kylie Burkholder, Sydra Royer (with a triple), Martin-Irving (with a double and 2 RBIs) and Hannah Stull (with 2 RBIs). Beeler also cracked a double.

G-A scored five runs in the first, three in the second and two each in the third and fourth. Camp Hill is 2-16.
