Chambersburg roundup: Trojan volleyball team cruises to 3-0 win

Chambersburg 3, Red Land 0: The Trojans hit the road Friday evening and had no trouble posting a shutout win over the Patriots in a Mid Penn Commonwealth game.

Chambersburg (8-3, 7-3 MPC) rolled to wins of 25-10, 25-13 and 25-9.

“We were efficient and limited our unforced errors,” Trojan coach Marta Helfrick said. “We did a good job of taking care of the ball when we had opportunities and the setters did a good job of distributing the ball.”

Kyle Ganoe had a good all-around match, piling up 11 kills, 2 blocks, 10 assists and 4 service points. Riley Laite had 6 kills and 6 aces.

Also for Chambersburg, Camden Etter had 6 kills, 3 blocks and 8 service points, Cole Myers led in digs (6) and assists (20), and Luke Pogue had a pair of blocks.
