GIRLS BASKETBALL
Mechanicsburg 50, Chambersburg 30: The Trojans, missing three starters, could not get started in a non-league game against Mechanicsburg on Saturday afternoon and dropped a non-league contest by 20 points.
Chambersburg (3-9) was outscored 14-0 in the first quarter and trailed 27-6 by halftime.
For the Trojans, Roselynn Diehl scored a career-high 11 points, with 9 coming in the fourth period. Kiki Walker had 7 points and Erin Pattillo and Joelle Rheam each had 5.
For the Wildcats (11-3) got 14 points from Emma Castillo.
The Trojans play at CD East on Tuesday.
