The Waynesboro Maidens improved their record to 5-0 with a win over the visiting West Perry Mustangs for Homecoming Friday.  The Maidens swept the match in 3-0 with scores of 25-9, 25-5, 25-17.  Led by senior homecoming court contestant Sophia Johnson with 12 kills and 2 solo blocks.  Gracie Vaughn contributed 8 kills while Haven King added 3 kills.  Defensively, Leah Helman had 4 digs and 3 service aces, Madi Boltz, Ashley Donald and Brianna Gladfelter scooped up 3 digs each.

The Maidens will visit the James Buchan Rockets on Tuesday for a key first half conference battle.  Junior Varsity to start at 5pm with Varsity to follow.
