Waynesboro wins 5th straight Colonial tournament

Waynesboro still unbeaten: The Indians kept their slate clean Tuesday afternoon in a Mid Penn Colonial Division match at Greencastle Golf Club, running their record to 25-0. Waynesboro had 329 strokes, while Big Spring was second with 354.

Devin Smith also kept his record intact, as he was the medalist for the fifth event. This time, he shot a 3-over par 75. ‘Boro teammate Evan Stein was fifth (81) and Dylan Byers took sixth (86).

The home team Blue Devils (12-13) placed fourth, led by Cooper Swam’s 87 (tied for 7th). Shippensburg (9-16) was fifth as Stephen Lucas tied for ninth with his 91, and James Buchanan (0-25) got an 11th-place finish from Larry Singer (94).

G-A’s Sydney Barnes led the girls with a score of 95.
