Blazers dominate Faith, 9-0

MARTINSBURG, W. Va. – The Cumberland Valley Christian Blazers were dominant from the start in defeating Faith Christian 9-0 Tuesday in a Mason-Dixon Christian Conference boys soccer game.

The Blazers (4-1, 3-1 MDCC) rolled to a 4-0 halftime lead.

Wyatt Pine scored three goals for the Blazers, while Isaac Kauffeldt, Elijah Randolph, Ryan Winters, Blaine Minnier, Max Crawford and Preston Conner added one goal apiece.

Felix Kauffeldt contributed two assists, and Elijah Randolph, Isaac Kauffeldt, Caleb Eckert, Pine, Sam Shunk and Caleb Decker each had an assist.

“Caleb Decker had a breakout game,” Blazers coach Stan Hott said. “He came off the bench and added a spark to the team. The team rallied around Josh Rowe’s leadership and possessed the ball very well.”
