Berlin 58 Fannett Metal 42

Berlin, Pa. – Fannett Metal (11-11) traveled to Berlin (13-8) for a first round playoff matchup and fell by a score of 58-42.  The Tigers were down by 5 at halftime, but a slow third quarter, in which they were outscored by 8, gave Berlin a lead that they would not lose.  Fannett-Metal was led in scoring by Hartman 11, McClure 9, Ritchey 9, Hill 9, and Hoffmann 4.  The Tigers finished the season with an 11-11 record and will graduate 1 senior. Berlin will take on top seeded Shanksville at Somerset High School on Tuesday at 7:00.
