Blazer girls rout Highland View

The Cumberland Valley Christian Blazers blasted out to a 19-2 lead and defeated Highland View Academy 55-9 in a non-league girls basketball game Monday evening.

By halftime the Blazers (18-6) were ahead 34-5.

Laurel Reitz led the Blazers with 17 points, while Jalen Moats and Amber Yanosik each fired in 10. Mollee Stake scored six points, Mariah Peck and Sarah Vandersleen contributed four each, and Marlee Stake and Emmalyn Hott each scored two.

The Blazers wrap up the Mason Dixon Christian Conference regular season Tuesday evening at Faith Christian and will enter the MDCC playoffs next week as the likely No. 3 seed.
