Warfordsburg, Pa. – Southern Fulton defeated McConnellsburg (4-13, 3-7) on Friday evening in an ICC matchup. The Indians (11-5 9-2 ICC) were up 8 to 2 at the end of the first period and never trailed the rest of the way. SF was led by Gabe Stotler with 11 points, and 9 rebounds. Konner Pittman had 11 points. Dylan Melton 10 points, and 3 rebounds. Justin Morris added 6 points with 5 rebounds, and 6 assists. McConnellsburg was led by Zander Sipes with 14 points and 2 assists. Rebounds – MHS 17 SF 28 Turnovers – MHS 19 SF 11 JV – MHS 40 SF 32 (SF – Kasey Fitz 9 points). McConnellsburg will travel to Northern Bedford on Monday. Southern Fulton will travel to James Buchanan on Saturday.

Fannett Metal 75 Forbes Road 60
Willow Hill, Pa. – Fannett-Metal (5-12, 3-8 ICC) hosted Forbes Road (0-14, 0-10 ICC) on Senior night and came away with a 75-60 victory. The Tigers led 35-31 in a back and forth first half. The Tigers extended the lead to six at the end of three quarters. F-M had a big 4th quarter as they scored 23 points to put away the Cardinals. Fannett Metal Coach Paul Coffman commented, “I figured it was going to be a dogfight tonight and it certainly proved to be that. Both teams played very hard. We played well in spurts, but we also showed some lack of discipline at crucial times. In the end we found a way to come out on top.”
The Tigers put four players in double figures tonight. Colton Friese led the way with 18 points and added four assists. Luke Coffman had a career night with 17 points, draining five treys to go along with 7 assists and 3 steals. Hunter Hill had 15 points, 8 steals and 6 assists. Wyatt Appleby added 13 points and 8 rebounds. Tanner Seibert chipped in 8 points, while Darston Warren and Ethan Kipe both had 2 points. Ayden Warren had 5 assists on the evening.
For the Cardinals, Caleb Hershey has 15 points, knocking down five treys on the night. Matt Clippinger added 13 points, Jonas Shaneman had 12 points and Wyatt McGowan scored 10 points. Forbes Road returns to action on Saturday, when they will host Belleville Mennonite at 3:00. Fannett Metal will travel to Shalom Christian on Saturday.
Mount Union 36 Forbes Road 24
Waterfall, Pa. – Forbes Road (3-13) hosted Mount Union in a non conference game and fell to the Trojans 36 to 24. Quincy McMath led Forbes Road with 10 points and 13 rebounds. Camille Posey had 13 points and Kerrigan Woodward had 11points for Mount Union. Cardinals Coach Jamie Gelvin commented, “We struggled to get much done tonight. Shots didn’t fall and we were very flat. I’m happy with the way the younger girls competed off the bench for us tonight.” JV MU 33 – FR 15 (FR – McKenna Rohrer and Morgan DeShong 6 points each). Forbes Road returns to action on Saturday, when they host Belleville Mennonite at 1:00.
