Difference at the foul line lifts CDE over Trojan girls

CD East 44, Chambersburg 35: A big difference at the foul line played a major role in the Panthers’ Mid Penn Commonwealth victory over the Trojans on Wednesday night.

While Chambersburg (4-13, 2-11 MPC) made only 4 of 13 foul shots, Central Dauphin East (4-13, 4-8 MPC) converted on 17 of 24 to negate the Trojans’ having two more field goals.

Bre’ya Clopper led the Trojans with 14 points, and the next-highest scorer was Erin Pattillo with 6.

For East, Aaliyah Bradford led with 11 points. The Panthers led 24-11 after the first half.
