McConnellsburg, Pa. – Down by a point, Essence Robinson hit a three pointer to give McConnellsburg (2-3) the win over Shade (5-2) in non league competition. Matty Ross led the Spartans with 21 points and Katelyn Truax had a double double with 10 points and 14 rebounds. Freshman Jenna Muha led the Panthers with 17 points and 14 rebounds. McConnellsburg held a 30 to 27 advantage in rebounds. No JV contest. McConnellsburg returns to action on January 2, when they host league rival Fannett Metal.

Hancock, Md. – The Lady Tigers traveled over the state border to take on Hancock.  The Lady Tigers came away with a 62-33 victory.  The Tigers were led in scoring by Hartman 23, Ritchey 19, Hoffmann 8, McClure 7, Walter 3, McGee 1, and Hammond 1.  The Tigers will return to action on Jan 2 when they take on McConnelllsburg
