Warfordsburg, Pa. – McConnellsburg (4-9, 3-5 ICC) made the trip south to visit the Indians of Southern Fulton (9-9, 6-3 ICC) and fell 3 sets to 1. (25- 17, 10-25, 25-21, 25-13). Katelyn Truax had a great night for the Lady Spartans. She recorded 15 kills, 10 blocks, 2 aces and numerous digs. Lexi Hoover added 5 kills, 2 aces and numerous digs. JV SF 2 MHS 1.

Southern Fulton Coach Julie Dickerhoff said, “It has always been a special rivalry with McConnellsburg, so it is always nice to get a win against them.  Tonight during the second game we fell completely flat and couldn’t make anything work, but the girls were able to rally back midway through the third game and finish the night strong.” McConnellsburg Coach Kellee Truax commented, “Overall the team played better, but we still have not figured out a way to finish this season.” Southern Fulton will host Shade on Friday at 7:00. McConnellsburg will host St. Maria Goretti on Monday at 6:00.
