McConnellsburg, Pa. – The Lady Spartan soccer team (2-1) picked up their second win of the season defeating Berkeley springs by a score of 3-2.  Izzy Keefer, Kailey Swope, and Emma Ott provided the scoring for the Spartans.  Abby Hann pitched in on offense with an assist.  The Spartans will travel to Southern Fulton on Thursday for a 6:00 start.

Shalom Christian Academy 1 Fannett Metal 0 DOT

Willow Hill, Pa. – Blake Emge scored with a minute left in double overtime to give Shalom a 1-0 win over Fannett Metal (2-1). Goetz Dickman was credited with the assist. Tiger Coach Tom Otis commented, “Our players did not have a good first half but the players did much better in the 2nd half.  Shalom passed the ball well and did a good job in swarming our players, when we had the ball, which made passing difficult. Hopefully we can learn from this game to improve in the future.” The Tigers will travel to Forbes Road on Wednesday for a 4:00 start.

McConnellsburg, Pa. – The McConnellsburg boys varsity team (3-0) defeated Berkley Springs High School by a score of 11-0 in a non league competition. Caleb Strait recored 3 saves in the net for the Spartans.  Goals were scored by Hayden Schetromph, assisted by Landon Seiders; Xavier Buterbaugh, assisted by Bryce Kylor; Landon Seiders, assisted by Bryce Kylor; Javier Arteaga, assisted by Xavier Buterbaugh; Dalton DeShong, assisted by Javier Arteaga; Bryce Kylor unassisted; Javier Arteaga, assisted by Landon Seiders;  Jonah Peck, assisted by Hayden Schetromph; Kole Truax unassisted; Landon Seiders, assisted by Evan Dickerson; and Kyle Romig, assisted by Wyatt Hershey. McConnellsburg travels to Southern Fulton on Thursday for a 4:00 start.

Milton, Pa. – Forbes Road (0-4) traveled to Meadowbrook Christian School and fell by the score of 10-5. The Cardinals will host Northern Bedford on Tuesday (9/10) at 4:00.
