The Cumberland Valley Christian Blazers got goals from five players and dominated New Life Christian 5-0 Tuesday in a Mason-Dixon Christian Conference boys soccer game.
Just minutes into the game, Ryan Winters followed a missed penalty kick that bounced off the post and fired the rebound into the goal to put the Blazers ahead.
Elijah and Noah Randolph scored to give the Blazers a 3-0 lead before Kenneth Hott connected on a goal, leaving him one shy of 100 goals for his varsity career.
Caleb Eckert drilled in the only goal of the second half for the Blazers (2-3-1, 2-1-1 MDCC).
Noah Randolph contributed two assists, while Hott, Elijah Randolph and Max Crawford registered one assist each.
“It was a good win,” Blazers coach Stan Hott said. “We still have a lot of work to do. Another stand-up job by our back four and our keeper, Jack Gabler.”
Gabler made five stops in the shutout.
