Southern Fulton 4 Everett 3
Everett, Pa. – Sierra McKelvy opened the scoring just five minutes into what would turn out to be a serious back-and-forth game, when the Lady Indians of Southern Fulton traveled to Everett Saturday. McKelvy’s goal on a direct kick gave the Lady Indians a 1-0 lead that would last until just after halftime, when Everett’s Kaitlyn Maxwell evened things up. But both Grace Mosemann and Lydia Hiller scored for Southern Fulton making it 3-1. Not to be outdone, Maxwell tallied two more for the Lady Warriors to tie things up. But with 12 minutes left in regulation, Mosemann received a pass from Hiller and scored far post. The Lady Indians (3-0, 2-0 ICC) walked away with the win, 4-3. Assists in the game were Hiller with two and Emma Wilson with one. Goalkeeper Jenna Dere had an outstanding performance so that she and her defense could preserve the win.
