Cedar Cliff 9, Chambersburg 1: The Colts dominated the first half, taking an 8-0 lead, but the Trojans turned it around in the second half and played to a 1-1 draw in their season opener at Trojan Stadium on Wednesday evening.

“It was a really tough first half,” Chambersburg coach Dani Clutter said. “Cedar Cliff really brought it to us and we were sitting on our heels. They were beating us to every ball. Going into halftime down 8-0, the girls knew they needed to pick it up.
“And they looked like a whole different team the second half — scoring first and only allowing one goal against. We are going to improve on the team that showed up in the second half and leave the first-half team behind us.”
Adyson Finkle scored the goal for the Trojans on a penalty stroke.
For the Colts, Natalie Roaskie scored 4 goals and Julia Breneman and Maggie Conklin each had 2.
