Saxton, Pa. – Southern Fulton (0-2, 0-1 ICC) traveled to Tussey Mt. and fell to the Titans in straight sets. (26-24,25-22,25-11) Lindsey Hollenshead led the Indians with 10 kills. Hailey Mellott had 5 kills and 3 blocks, McKenzi Leasure had 3 aces and 13 assists and Maddie Unger added 2 aces. Southern Fulton Coach Julie Dickerhoff said, “We beat ourselves tonight with a lot of mental errors. We are taking this as a learning experience and know that we need to work hard to improve.” Southern Fulton will host Fannett Metal on Thursday at 7 PM.

Loysburg, Pa. – McConnellsburg (1-0, 1-0 ICC) opened their season on the road with an Inter County Conference win. (25-13, 25-10, 22-25, 25-15) Katelyn Truax led the Lady Spartans with 6 kills, 3 blocks and 8 aces. Kylie Brown had 5 kills and 5 aces. Lexi Hoover also had 5 kills with 4 aces. Mariah Christy chipped in another 5 kills. Freshman, Lariah Souders came off the bench with 4 kills. Olivia Alexander dished out 19 assists. “It was nice to see everyone contributing in the offense,” McConnellsburg Coach Kellee Truax commented and the added, “We had a lot of good hustle plays as well.” JV MHS 2 NBC 0 (25-17, 25-20) McConnellsburg will travel to Everett on Thursday a change to what was previously reported,

Willow Hill, Pa. – Fannett Metal (0-2, 0-1 ICC) fell to Everett in an ICC matchup. (25-11, 25-15, 25-15). Lynnzie McClure led the Tigers with 4 service points, 3 kills, 3 digs and 2 aces. Abby Harris had 5 service points and 2 digs. Hailey Hill added 4 kills. Jade Walls had 9 assists. Sydney Bartley contributed 2 aces. Lastly, Morgan Rotz added 2 blocks.
