McConnellsburg 16 Tussey Mt. 3

Saxton, Pa. – McConnellsburg (6-5, 6-4 ICC) traveled to Tussey Mt. and downed the Titans 16 to 3. Karah Stiffler got the win for the Spartans. Kailey Swope was 3-4. Kylie Garland was 3-5. Sami Hensley and Julia Lafferty each contributed 2 hits. The Spartans outhit the Titans 13 to 6. McConnellsburg travels to Northern Bedford tomorrow for a 4:30 start.

Forbes Road 6 Hope for Hyndman 1

Waterfall, Pa. – Led by Madison Hayes’ strong pitching, the Forbes Road Lady Cardinals defeated Hyndman 5-1.  Hayes went 7 innings, striking out 6.  Payton Watkins had a triple and an RBI. Harlie Strait and McKenna Roher each added a hit and Ashlin Walter had a double.  Forbes Road will host Everett on 4/25 at 4:30.
