State College 12, Chambersburg 6: A seven-run third inning by the Little Lions proved to be enough runs to defeat the Trojans in a Mid Penn Commonwealth game Wednesday afternoon.
Elijah Snyder held State College scoreless through two innings before they got to him.
For the Trojans (1-11, 1-8 MPC), Hunter Stevens had a fine game. In four at-bats, he produced two hits, including a triple, walked and was hit by a pitch. He also knocked in two runs and stole four of Chambersburg’s eight stolen bases.
Greg Cunha put up a 2-for-3 game with a walk. Also for the Trojans, Aaden Newman had a hit and two walks and Andrew Wurtz hit a double.
