James Buchanan 10 Fannett Metal 1

Mercersburg, Pa. – Fannett Metal (0-4) travelled to James Buchanan on Monday and lost 10-1 to the Rockets.  The Tigers managed just two hits off JB pitching.  An RBI single in the 1st inning plated Kyler Goshorn who walked and stole second earlier in the inning.  That was the only run the Rockets would allow on the day.  The other hit for the Tigers was a double by Goshorn in the 2nd inning.  The Rockets had eight hits on the day led by Derek McCardell (3 for 4) and Dalton Eckard (2 for 3, 2 RBIs and a triple).  Dalton Eckard threw three innings to pick up the win while Colton Friese was tagged with the loss. The Tigers will host McConnellsburg today at 4:30.
