Palmyra 16, Chambersburg 2: The Trojans fell behind 7-2 by halftime and failed to score in the second half in a Mid Penn defeat at the hands of the Cougars on Saturday.

Thomas Elia’s second goal of the game, one of them assisted by Haden Ocker, tied the game 2-2 with 3:41 left in the first quarter for Chambersburg (2-5, 1-5 MPC). But Palmyra then ripped off the next 14 goals.

Goalie Angel Santos made 15 saves and Nash Bothe ended up with eight ground balls and 14 face-off wins, as the Trojans won that battle, 14-6.
